Highlands Canyon Ridge About
HIGHLANDS AT CANYON RIDGE: CUSTOM LUXURY HOMESITES

The Highlands at Canyon Ridge is a luxury enclave of 12 secluded lots in the eclectic, preservation-minded Town of Cave Creek, Arizona, in the Sonoran Desert Foothills. The Highlands at Canyon Ridge caters to people who enjoy a full yet laidback life. Bordered by the Go John Canyon nature preserve on the north and east and the Cave Creek Recreational Park on the west, you can step out your door to go hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding on park trails that link right into the Highlands, and still be within minutes of every type of entertainment, shopping and dining experience imaginable.

A Natural Habitat
Each four-plus acre lot has a distinctive character, but they all offer a rare opportunity to live amongst nature. The dense trees, bushes, succulents and cacti, including rare ancient saguaros, are native to the area, which is part of the scenic Sonoran Desert Foothills. Wild animals, birds and reptiles will be your regular backyard guests.

Dramatic Panoramic Views
You and your architect will appreciate how we planned the placement of the lots to maximize and protect unobstructed panoramic views of mountains and mesas, near and far, including Skull Mesa, Black Mountain, Elephant Butte, and layers of high-rising ranges many miles west and south of Phoenix.

The Historic Heritage
The Highlands honor Cave Creek's late 19th- and early 20th-century mining heritage by naming the streets after three local mines: Silver Star, Mamie Maud and Rackensack. Of the three, only the Rackensack gold mine is still preserved in the annals of the area's history because of its association with Edward G. Cave, the colorful character who first named and mined Rackensack. Some historians believe the Town of Cave Creek was named after Mr. Cave. Others believe the town was named after the cave on the west side of the creek.

Easy Accessibility to All Types of Amenities
All of the major roads and highways you'll need for shopping, services, schools, dining, entertainment, recreation and relaxation are within easy reach of the Highlands at Canyon Ridge. From Carefree Highway you can head east to Scottsdale Road, south along Cave Creek Road to the 101, or west to I-17, and go anywhere in the Phoenix metropolitan area and beyond.
